TUESDAY, 30 October - DAY TRIP

Table Mountain

For this afternoon - departing at 14:00, we are planning a trip to Table Mountain - a World Heritage site and now also one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. You will ascend the mountain by cable car - a Swiss-built rotating gondola, which affords you 360 degree vistas as you go up or down. There will also be free time on the mountain to walk around and admire the surrounding beauty of the Western Cape. From the mountain a motorised tour of the historic part of Cape Town will then bring you back to the conference hotel, in time to refresh and relax, before the welcome function will be enjoyed at a selected venue.
