Gold Value Golf 'n Game 'n Wine
This is a national tour throughout South Africa and includes some of the very best that our country can offer the serious - and even the maybe not so serious - golfer, discerning tourist, nature lovers, and of course any wine lover with a palate for quality. Accommodation will be in selected five star hotels or leading brand guest houses (depending on choice and availability), and is best suited for small guided groups of up to 12 people. Numbers however, need not be a limitation! As many as 40 pax can be accommodated on selected programmes.
Your tour highlights will include: Up-market accommodation, transport in luxury air-conditioned vehicles throughout the tour, an English speaking tourist guide (a golfer), all meals, side trips (leading tourist venues and areas such as Table Mountain, the Cape Peninsula, the Garden Route, the Zulu Kingdom, the Panorama Route of Mpumalanga, the Kruger National Park, a private game reserve and lodge, and of course the fabulous Cape Winelands) as described in detail in the full itinerary, and of course the golf, 9 rounds of golf in 16 days.
Depending on availability at the time of reservation, your golf venues can include: Pecanwood Golf Estate, the Gary Player CC at Sun City (venue for the annual Million Dollar Challenge), the Lost City course at Sun City ( a crocodile challenge), Dainfern, Randpark CC, Johannesburg CC, Houghton (home of the Dunhill Tournament in SA), Wild Coast Sun, San Lameer, Durban CC (for many years the number one course in SA), Mount Edgecombe Estate (2 courses), George GC (said to be one of the best manicured courses in SA), Fancourt Estate (4 courses, including the Links - venue of the Presidents Cup in 2003), Pezula Estate, Simola Estate, Pinnacle Point, Erinvale Estate (home of the 1996 World Cup), Steenberg Estate, Stellenbosch (home of the 1999 SA Open and 5 SA Masters Tournaments), Paarl/Boschenmeer Estate, White River CC or Humewood GC (often host to the SA Open, second oldest open in the history of golf!).
